SOCOTEC UK (‘we’ or ‘us’) are a ‘data controller’ for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, (i.e. we are responsible for, and control the processing of, your personal information). This website is a standalone service provided by the Foundations department of SOCOTEC UK.

Profile
When a user profile is provided we collect the following personal information:

Booking Form
When submitting details of a test, we collect information regarding your client, the location of the works and the testing requirements. If you provide information about a 3rd party, you confirm that you have consent from them to provide their personal data for processing and receive any data protection notices on their behalf.
How we use the information we collect
The information we collect about our users is used for identification purposes and is used for site customisations and security only. The information provided in the booking form is used for logistic purposes and fulfilling your testing requirements.
How long we retain your data
The profile details, information you provide on a booking form and its metadata are retained whilst an active account is required and may be deleted after 6 months from account deactivation but a request for deletion can be requested at any time.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
Where we send your data
We may share your information with law enforcement agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity
